Bear Traditional Bows

I am thinking of buying a Bear Archery traditional bow. I am looking towards the longbow in the Montana line that they produce. I am wanting to get one in 45 pounds. I currently have a Jerry Hill Wildcat Delux special edition from the late 90's; however, I am not really happy with this bow as the draw weight is too much for me at 55 pounds.

What are your thougts on the Bear Traditional Bows and in particular their longbow line of products?

dadsbuckshot- Look at the howard hill archery line. I messed around with longbows for years, and got a howard hill bow made by craig ekin, and it is awesome. For the price get a bow to last lifetime, shot about 8 of them in 45# and was great.

I have a Montana Longbow 50# and love it. A great bow for the money, love to feel, no hand shock what so ever, smooth and sends my arrows right where I look! I love it, I personally don't think you can go wrong with a Montana!

I've had two different Montanas and they were both good shooting bows. They're nothing fancy, butvery servicable. My only complaint was the grip was a little square from the facotry for my liking, but it was nothing some work with a wood rasp and a refinishing job couldn't fix.
