Russ, instead of starting a new thread I'll just ask here.
Have you ever contemplated making a bow similar to the Shrews? You know, the forward handle design? Don't see many bowyers copying it, but if you ever do, please make sure you let me know

I'd love a "lil favorite"

Whatever it takes
Actually what I really like about the shrews is the forward handle of the bow, and the grip looks ultra comfortable with maximum pointability. There are many such forward handle r/d long bows out there, I just like the lil' favorite due to it's pop up blind friendly 54" length. Of course I have my bear supermag to handle that duty, so if you wanna start about 60" on a r/d forward handle long bow...

I have never been interested in a riser forward design. They just look ugly to me. I can see where they will help with handshock, but ive never had an issue with handshock. Especially enough to intentinally make an ugly bow.

Just another quick up date.
The new limb material and air hose are on the way hopefully I will have this project finished by next week end.
Then it will be onto a reflex/deflex 1 piece bow

Sorry for not responding sooner but I have just got home from our opening week end here in TX.
Both Greg and I went to Nugent and did not get a shot off all week end we both got busted by doe's, Greg Sat. evening and me this morning.[:@]
Millions of acorns already on the ground with millions more still on the tree's.
I should have stayed home and finished the take down but hey what the heck a week end in the woods sure does beat working
As for the build along I will think about that after I finish this one but your chances are good I will do one
Oh the UPS man delivered the materials about 30 minutes before Greg got here to pick me up for the hunt
So as soon asI get home freom work tomorrow I will get busy on the take down.
