Here is the Yellowheart and Leopardwood overlays I was telling you about this mornin.

I think they are going to look good on the Walnut limbs;)

But then again I might change my mind when I get your bow glued up:D

That looks cool. Are you using it as a powerlam or a back overlay? It would be a waste to use it as a power lam. Besides, you dont need a power lam with lam bows. So I guess I answered my own question.:D

Ive never used leopard wood, but it looks a lot like snake wood.

Heck, id be tempted to rip that leopard wood into vaniers and use it under your back glass. That would look great under glass.

Mate I am seriously thinking about getting some long enough to get some lams made for front or back lams:)

IMHO it is a beautiful wood that gets overlooked.

There is some HOT PINK wood on Ebay I am gonna get for yours itwill look real good against the Black Walnut limbs and Cocobolo/Yellowheart/Purpleheart riser[8D]:D

Don't give Frodo artistic freedom,there's no telling what he will do to a bow...the boy has been sniffing way too many fumes in his new shop!:DHonestly I think it will look good Russ,now back in your high chair and finish Greg's bow.
