Hey Burnieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

What ya think of these apples:D

Close up of them.

Cocobolo

Yellow heart.

Bubinga.

Leopardwood.

Zebrawood.

Purpleheart.

I should be able to make some real nice risers out of this stuff;)

PAHardwwods.

Chad.

I was thinking splitting to Cocobolo down the center lenght wise and putting in a strip of Yellow Heart (vertically) for your riser and then cutting that and putting in a strip of Purpleheart (horizontal) for an accent strip, it should look real sweet with Black Walnut limbs;)

Russ I think that may be a winner. I like that idea.:D Or maybe as you look at the back of the bow from left to right it could be like this. Cocobolo, Yellowheart, purpleheart, Cocobolo with black walnut limbs. Just a thought.

Looks good. Have you ever worked with purple heart? Its some hard stuff. I have dulled many a bandsaw blade cutting it. I love the contrast you can get with it.

Not as yet but hey bandsaw blades are cheap:D

My blade is a 6 tooth per inch, it's slow but gets the job done;)
