Tab question?

Would it be possible to shoot this Cavalier tab with three fingers under? Also, if any of you shoot this tab, how do you like it? Should I go with this model or get the Elite model with the aluminum plate and cordovan leather? I am just wanting to try several different tabs to see which one I like the best and this one was pointed out to me by a guy at the pro shop. Thanks for your help.

You can use it 3-under, no problem.

I use the cordovan Elite tab andlike it. No experience with the one you linked to.

Personally I like cordovan leather at least for the part touching the string. Can't comment on the one you have shown though since I never really shot it. Personally, my favorite tabs are Batemans.

I thought I remembered you shooting one of the cordovan maodels Chad, I just wasn't sure.

BobCo-I am definitely going to check out one of the three finger under models by the company you linked to.

You also could make your own very easily! I went to Tandy Leather Co. and pick out some leather from the scap bin for $5.00 and cut my own tabs from it! They work great and I can get about 8 tabs out of the $5.00 piece of leather! They work great and don't have a problem with my finger being sore from the thin leather tabs! If you don't like them your only out a few bucks, no biggie! Just and idea I thought I'd trow out there!

That is actually a great idea. My business partner and I own a furniture restoration and refinishing business and his brother owns an upholstery business. He gave me a ton of cordovan scraps from a large job two years ago. I cut about 5 tabs and they worked great. I ended up giving them to a buddy of mine. Somehow this summer when we were cleaning out the garage, my kids threw all of the scraps away.:(
