I' ve never used that type quiver, so I can' t give my experiences, but I am pretty sure I have seen longer limb bolts offered for just for that (maybe in 3 Rivers?).

Sorry I am not more help.

Just get yourself a Great Northern bolt on quiver. They have the extra long limb bolts at GNBC and can supply them with the quiver. I have on on my Hunter 2 T/D and I have a strap on quiver on a longbow and love them. THey are super light and very quiet. I wouldn' t mess with any other bowquiver. Their website is

My check-mate hunter has a long riser. I have a German ridge quiver and I had to modify it to fit the long riser. Works great now. I don' t like to shoot my bow with the quiver on but I like a bow quiver to carry to my stand. The German Ridge will come off the bow in 2 seconds and I can attach it to my tree stand to keep my arrows handy. I really like the spring type bow quivers. Dick

I agree with Dick. that German Ridge is one slick quiver. Easy on, easy off, rock solid, quiet, and nice looking.

I recently purchased a small fry boa quiver from thunderhorn and couldn' t be more pleased. It is small ( 3 arrow ) unobtrusive and the workmanship is first rate. It can be easily changed between bows in just a few seconds and is solid once mounted. well worth the time to check out IMO

Hey Dick or JRW, I just checked out the German Ridge Quiver on their website. This is probably a dumb question, but I`m gonna ask anyhow.

Can this quiver be used on a non-takedown recurve?

If so, does it rub off the finish on your bow?

Thank`s

Buddy of mine uses a Selway or Thunderhorn on his CM t/d hunter. The one that slides on the limbs. Looks good and he seems happy with it.
