Limb bolt quivers.

I was checkin out some of the bow quivers that connect to the limb bolts and startin to wonder how they effect the connection and shootin. Do they get in the way of holdin the limbs down well and mess with the arrow flight?

I use a Great Plains quick detach quiver on my Palmer. It has little bases that go under the limb bolts that the wires from the quiver slide into, being locked down with a pair of thumb screws.

I haven' t noticed any problems, but Palmer uses two sets of bolts per limb. I couldn' t say about the rest though. When in doubt, I' d ask the bowyer.

I have the Great Northern bolt on quiver on my Hunter 2 recurve and really like it. Very light, very quiet and really easy to use. I would recomend the Great northern quivers to anybody. Thier web address is http://www.mvcc.com/bu/gnbco/

I' ve had a Delta quiver with limb bolt mounts on my Jeffery recurve for many years. They don' t affect the arrow flight or the function of the bow. The mounts stay on the bow all the time. The quiver bolts into the mounts with a couple thumb bolts. On and off in a hurry. It is a very solid system. My bow is actually quieter with the quiver mounted. It acts like a stabilizer.
