Spine Chart

Does anyone have an Easton Spine Chart that gives the amount of shaft spine stiffness in decimels?

Like a 2217 has a .185 bending spine when loaded on a spine scale, etc.

?

Just go to Easton Archerys webpage. They list out the AMO deflection

Now according to Easton's charts a 2117 shaft is the correct selection for a recurve bow of 48# with a 30" arrow with a 125 gr point! They don't even SHOW the 2018 as a viable selection!

The Easton chart, unless it's changed, isn't very useful for trad bows. There's a pretty good chart at foxfire archery (www.arrowsbykelly.com).

A 2117 spines out at around 81#--way too stiff for a 48# bow.A better choice would be a 29" or a 30" 2016

I agree. My 49# recurve likes a 29" 2016 or a 28" 2018. I shoot 2117s out of my 66# Compound.
