Shootin' Time!

Look what the FedEx man just dropped off:D

Fresh out of the oven. A dozen 2016s with 4" feathers with a right helical.

Now it's time to go shoot!

You can't shoot those. They are not legacy's. You can only shoot imitation cedar looking arrows thru trad bows.

Those nocks are they glued on? I was wondering how you index those if they are glued on? Or how would you be able to get perfect flight?

What do you mean? Most generally shoot cock fletch out at 180degrees. No indexing really. You add point wieght or cut the arrow to get good flight.

Well, I meant fletch clearance. I've been reading that some people index aluminums and I don't know how they do it? So if you shoot cock fletch out does that mean your bottom hen fletch will always be hitting the shelf?

Yep. That's why we shoot feather fletch when shooting off the shelf. When the bow is tuned properly and the arrow is the right spine, it doesn't cause any problems at all. In fact, my longbow really likes to be shot with the cock fletch turned straight in.
