Just got back from test shooting the first long bow I have made
Some of you might remember my post a bout a week end of ups and downs, I was going to scrap the bow but decided to finish it instead and now I am glad I finished it.
It holds real good and shoots great with very little hand shock, the poundage is still a little higher than I would like it to be but thats life
I did have to cut another 1/16" out of the back side of thesight window and shelf to get the arrow to sit properly.
All I have to do now is do the final sanding and put on a coat of Polyurethane.
I will post some pics here in a little bit.

Since you posted, I guess there was no catastrophic malfunction with fatal injuries. Well.... Better luck next time. [8D]
Like I told you the other day, no matter how bad you think you screwed it up, if it shoots an arrow it's a bow. If it shoots where you look, it's a good bow.

I would like to thank you for the encouraging words on the phone the other day as well as those little tips you gave for the next one I make
Now I can't wait for it to dry and go shoot some more arrows

Here are some pics I have it hanging upside down
you can see the seperation on the laminants in the middle of the riser which really ticked me off when I first seen they had shifted.
