Any one happen to catch the new Rambo movie. He was bowfishing catfish using a longbow. Thought it was kind of neat.

Not yet but I plan on it. I missed it when it was at the theater in my home town.

yeah, the bowfishing scene was just a blip though. I thought it was interesting that he was still using the same compound as before.

Yea, it was just one shot, but it showed the entire draw sequence and release (with the longbow). Not bad form IMO. :D

Too bad he went back to the compound for the other scenes. The longbow scene came first and I was hoping it would continue through the movie. But he did go back to his original compound. Probably for the best that he didn't use one of the more modern compounds since the movie seemed portrait the area as being very poor.

Its kind of hard for me to stomach Rambo movies. I liked First Blood, then I realizedStalone was a draft dodger. So the idea of him playing the role of an American war hero just doesnt set well with me.

Not that I know much about that except for mostly gossip, or feel the need to stick up for Stalone, but doesn't have Bell's Palsy?

Yep, he dodged the draft and went to Canada, where he started making low budget, soft core porn. The name, Italian Stalon came from one of these movies. My older sister dug up the movie years ago to see what it was like. She was very disapointed because it was made before he started on the roids. It was during the 70s. He came back to America when Carter gave amnistey to all the draft dodgers. He came back with the screen play for Rocky and we all know the rest of the story. I have a good friend who served in Vietnam and he cannot even stand to hear Stalons name.

As for Bell's Palsy, he sure looks like he has had a baby kicking on his spine.:D
