info required on Indian Archery

Hey gang, first time on this particular board. Normally lurk the Bowhunting Board but now I need some help. Can anyone provide info or a website for Indian Archery. I was recently given a recurve with a length of 60" with a weight of 50#. Problem is that the bow does not have a string on it and I would like to get some info on the bow.

Any assistance is appreciated T.I.A.

Escalade Sports handles Indian Archery now, but they only do institutional and youth bows these days. I don' t think you' ll find anything on their site that will help you much, but the addy is:

www.escaladesports.com

You should take the bow to your nearest pro shop (hopefully a shop that knows a little something about trad bows) and try a few different strings on it. Should be a 60" AMO string, but it' s always best to fit the string to the bow.

Arthur P, thanks for the response. I will take the bow to one of the shops in the area. Just thought I might try the Traditional way. I do have two compounds with some bells and whistles but the recurve kight be interesting. Thanks again.
