The UPS man delivered all the timber for my first home made long bow.

I decided on a BBubinga riser, Sassafras limbs with Action Bamboo core.

Hopefully it will turn out a shooter.

Last week end I made the form which was no easy task had a couple of trial and errors with it[8D]

This week end I plan on building the heat box.


Just one quick question the plans call for heat resistant masking tape which I have tried to get at the local hardware stores and I know the people who work there dont have a rocket science degree, but to just look at me with a blank look on thier face and say HUH.

What tape would some of you bowyers advise me to use I was thinking about the blue painters tape.

All the build alongs in Tradgang, I see em use blue masking tape.

I have been watching this cat for some time now and have been been blown away. You have to admit, don't it make you want to grab and wood and cut something.

Matter of fact it did:D

I got the form made today and the heat box is almost done just have to cut the lid section and put the gear inside it tomorrow;)

Might even do a build along here if anyone is interested:)

See how long it takes me to screw it up;)
