RE: What are the characteristics of a GREAT longbow?
 

I made the switch from compound to trad about 7-8 years ago, and have tried a few bows. I have shot a few Chek-Mates and liked them, then I bought one, but the poundage was to much. so I got a Savannah (still have it) but then I ordered my last bow, a takedown Crusader and just love shooting. But as others said, it is all personal prefferance to what that person will like.
