Uneven Glueline

I have the opportunity to purchase a nice used Bill Stewart Multicam longbow. It has an uneven glueline as shown in the picture. Will it cause problems with shooting of the bow?

Can' t quite see it, but if it looks solid, and what you have is just a thick line of epoxy, that shouldn' t mater. Epoxy can fill huge gaps. Also, if it is pretty much in the middle of the limb, that part of the bow (depnding on certain variable) is not under much stress in the first place.

I wouldn' t buy it. What your looking at is sloppy workmanship. What' s underneath where you can' t see????!! Dick

D4B,

Thanks! Somebody got me off the hook after being the only bidder for 6 days. The man that made the bow is a master craftsman, but sadly he is getting old. He was about 76 when he made this bow in 1996.
