RE: 3 types of traditonal bows?
A flat bow is straight limbed or has a bit of reflex/deflex to it, limb profile is wide and... well, for lack of a better word...flat.A recurve is a flat bow, except the limbs areformed into thosealluring curves. ;)

RE: 3 types of traditonal bows?
my first selfbow was a Flat bow design. Great shooting selfbow actually. I'll try to get some pics of it up. I'll have to wait untill it gets light so I can go outside for better pics.
