long bow set up....need some help
 
just bought a long bow. it doesnt even have a string. where can i find some info on getting it ready to shoot?.thanks

hunter,

first post any and all info on the bow. There should be a bunch of stuff writen onthe limbs etc.


Usualy it will have a AMO length. That should be your string length. If not measure the nock to nock length and subtract 3 - 4 inches. As for where to get strings. There are several places. 3 rivers archery is a good place for lots of stuff. I prefer flemish twist strings.

Like I said post that info and pics too if you can.
