Camo Tape

Anyone ever have any trouble with camo tape on their bow? affect performance? etc... Just wanting to make sure -

I haven't used it, but a bud of mine has. He didn't say anything about loosing any performance, but I think it was a bit of a pain getting all the glue off when he removed the tape. Another option would be "Limbskins"--they are like a nylon stocking for the limbs, easy to put on and take off, and come in a few different patters--camo, tiger stripe, and snakeskin if memory serves me right. Joe Stark at Lone Wolf Traditional Archery has the snow camo and snakeskin patterns listed in his catalog for $13.25 (2002 catalog).

For winter, white masking tape is hard to beat. It goes on easy, comes off easy (warm water and a wash cloth and a slight bit of elbow grease), and just plain ole looks good!

Its hard to cover up a limb that looks good in summer, thats for dang sure. Guess I am a pretty bow pheen.......<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I used the stuff once and it pulled the finish off my fishing bow. For a few buck, Limbskins are a better investment.
