Zipper recurves - official endorsement
http://www.zipperbows.com/
I've shot a lot of bows, and Zippers have really impressed me lately. I had a very nice Extreme and sold it to a buddy, fancy riser, bocote limbs, finger grooves ... sweet. Thats the bow I took to Canada this year. I replaced it with a 54# @ 28" all bamboo Zipper. This weekend we shot them and IMO right now, for me, they're as good as any recurve made. Light in the hand for a recurve, maybe the lightest around, fast, very quiet, easy handling, very shootable and the prices are less than what you'd pay for most other recyrves. I like them that much. My endorsement means nothing, but it looks cool in the thread title :) if ya'll get a chance, shoot a Zipper, you might be very surprised like I was. |

I have shot a few, and have been on the lookout for one for a couple of years. Problem is, I don't want to give full price for one. But like you, I am very impressed.

I think Zipper told me this one was $750 - instock bow
try to buy an instock Black Widow or Silvertip for that price ! I paid $400 for my all bamboo, and $425 for the other and got great deals on both. If I were looking to buy new, I'd contact Zipper on their instock bows ! ![]() |
