Thanks, I tried it and it works. However it could have been the rubber band that I was using, it did make a rather loud (at least to me) snap. It also tried to rotate the arrow off the shelf just before it came off. Maybe the rubber band was a bit too tight.

My longbow is only 64" but my son shoots a 68" HH and he hangs it on a screw-in hanger and shoots behind the tree on both sides and in front. He's shooting an 80# @ 27" bow with no treestand problems. Like I said, I do the same thing but my bow is only 64".
