Arrow question's
Here it goes! I've been shooting 22/16 XX75 arrows tipped with a 125 grain 3 blade snuffer while pulling about 73lbs at 29" with my recurve the last 10 years. Does this set up sound right to you traditional boys? I've always wondered if i could be shooting a lighter arrow. By no means am i switching to a carbon arrow, so leave that out of your answers. My arrows fly fairly good for the most part, every once in a while i get one to kick a little but that could easily be me doing that with a bad release or something! I lack knowledge in the arrow department when it comes to weights. I've always kind of went by what the other traditional guys in the area have used and went with that. It might be the right set up or it might not be. I guess a guy don't know unlesshe ask's someone. My goal is to try getting the max speed out of my arrow but at the same time i don't want to loose the toughness of my arrow either. I want the best of both worlds if i can.Theres a few guys in here that seem to have it together when it comes to arrow weights and stuff. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks boys!
