Like Chad told Rangeball about the Montana, it's been a long time since I've shot one and they may have made some changes. The grip on the Montanas I've shot feel really square and boxy. I eventually found that I can put the 'edge' into the that palm line that runs down along the base of my thumb and get a pretty consistent grip with it, and make it more comfortable, but I still didn't like it. Handshock is about average to a little above average for a reflex/deflex bow. Arrow speed is a little below average, I think.

My pick would be the Grizzly. It's always been a good shooter and solid performer, just without the style and good looks they put on the Kodiak, and maybe just a shade less arrow speed.
