RE: Fletching jigs
I bought a pair of BPE Pro Fletchers about 10 years ago. Exceptional jig, and well-built. You can adjust for any nock alignment, and any fletching configuration up to six...without buying anything extra.
Hard to beat for about $40.00 each. JRW |

RE: Fletching jigs
I use two jigs presently, the Jo-Jan and BPE. I would have to say that the BPE is an excellent value, perhaps the best deal for the money. Not only is the unit well made and reasonably priced, but it is easy to use, indexes nicely (mine were well used already when I bought them from eBay), plus additional clamps are only about 10-15 dollars apiece.
I use my Jo-Jan most often because it, like the BPE, is of high quality AND produces a half-dozen arrows in a fraction of the time. It has a good helical, but I believe the BPE has a bit more helical built into the clamp, so if you are finicky about the best helical, the BPE may be the way to go. If you have little patience, definitely go with the Jo-Jan. If speed doesn't matter, the BPE will serve you fine. If you want to compromise, you can buy a couple of BPEs for the price of one Multi-Fletcher. I don't think you can go wrong with either. Speaking of which, I haven't fletched any shafts in quite some time. YBIC, Dave ><> Matt 6:33,34/Rev 3:20 |
