moose hunt starts sept. 6th
 

huntnmuleys and i leave tomorrow for alberta!!!:D
we have a 6 day hunt, moose and muley! we will have pics.
pics,and pics.![:-] return on the 17th.

Good luck with the swamp donkeys! I'm jealous--hope to get after them again one of these days.....no luck the first (and only) time I went, at least not with moose. I did get a nice hen and rooster spruce grouse though--made a nice mount for my shop.

back from hunt, didn't have a very good hunt. was going to spot and stalk, a little still hunting and stands as needed.
well the guides didn't find any not even one moose all week! so spot and stalk was out! we sat in the "iron maidan" all week. most uncofortable stand ever! the guide said well we don't have to sit to long so we never got any good ones!
this was a bad deal, the wolves moved in and the moose moved out. so you say why not just move. well the guides responce was we don't know where else to go! we never scouted anywhere else!
i was pissed! so i am waiting for a call on a hunt pkg. deal for a few years from now. i will get some pics. on soon.

Sorry to hear. Guides can sure be a disappointment if you don't get the right ones.
