Year in and year out, Drury Outdoors puts out great videos, deer and turkey. The Primetime series is also good. I just got the Bowhunter Magazine video journal #4 and it is terrific. A few "oldy but goodies", Bowhunting October Whitetails I & II and High Noon Bucks by Wensel, Blase and Bidlespacher. These videos are great, good treestand hunting with lots of pushes. They never cease to amaze with those running shots, truly awesome!

I sort of like the Mossy Oak and Drury videos. I liked the Primetime series until they made a feature presentation out of Stan Pott's neck shot. Credibility went down the tubes with that one, IMO.

Drury,Primos and Mossy Oak likem all and have most of them.Drury videos are probably my favorite though.I wish those guys would give a recurve a try,i think it would be a great addition to their videos as they have already added some muzzleloader and shotgun hunts.Footed Shaft

JRW,

I agree. Any video that features Mr. Potts is the pitts!! Pun intended!!

The way his vidoes are filmed, it makes me wonder what they have in the immediate vicinity off camera that's attracting/distracting the deer.

The "Traditional Vision Quest" video isn't bad, but I really don't like the music in it. Lots of good footage of stickbow action.

Are there any videos out there that have lady bowhunters on them? My wife gives me grief that if she cant watch the ladies shoot she will make her own. I would hate to be shown up so bad in a video featuring her and her sister.

The videos by Kisky Productions feature Kandi Kisky and Tiffany Profant hunting and taking big bucks.

As for Stan Potts' head-on shot on Primetime 6, the thing that annoyed me the most was his comment, "......I didn't wanna take that shot, but I didn't have a choice...". Oh really Stan? How about letting him keep walking and then stopping him again?

lamb,
I'm a little confused about your comment, whats it supposed to mean exactly?

I saw this video once with Barbie dolls and Ken and Barbie were on a trapese with a german shepard and were about to ... ohhhh you said hunting videos. I like the Drury videos. I like the ones that show the setup and where they are hunting, not just the killing shot. I'm more interested in why they were setup in that location and the terrain. Not alot that are into that. I saw 3 really good bear hunting videos about 5 years ago, that were awesome. They showed setup, bears coming in and leaving and kill shots. Theu also went into proper broadhead sharpening using a rubber band and shot placement. Sorry don't remember the names.

Bodkin,

One of the videos I've got has a lady bowhunter in Texas going after deer. She's all cute...with her make-up, diamond stud earrings, hair in a scrunchie...and the close-up of her checking the time on her new Seiko watch was suspenseful.

My wife even heckled that one.

I think JRW was just jealous because he saw another bowhunter in makeup!
