Seal Skin Underwear
 

Ok guys, I am about to glue the seal skin on my shelf. Help me out here before I change my mind and make a pair of awesome undies out of this stuff. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

How high up the riser do you go with the seal skin? I have one piece cut to fit the shelf perfectly. For the other piece, I have a piece 1/2&quot; high, and also have a piece about 1&quot; high. What do you suggest? 1/2&quot; or 1&quot; high up the riser? Thanks.

I have a 3/8&quot; wide piece running 3/4&quot; up the riser.

Make em sharp and shoot em straight, or leave em home.

Never really thought about how high I put it on my bows. I just went above the arrow rest enough that if for some reason the arrow slipped up it didn't clang on the wood directly. What ever looks good I suppose. Make sure you make the undies with the sticky side out<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>]!

What type of glue are you using to attach the seal skin?? I know this question was answered in a previous post but I forgot to write it down.

Carl, excellent tip, thanks. I never thought of that.

Dave, Im using Barge Cement to glue the seal skin on. Thanks everybody, Im glueing as soon as I hit the post button.
