Lost Tribe Members,

It is with great sadness that I must tell you that one of our club members has passed away. Earl (Pascal) Ware passed this afternoon around 4:00 PM, after a long bout with cancer. For those of you who did not know Pascal, he was a very quiet and friendly man. He loved traditional archery. He shot up until he could not walk anymore, he loved it that much and he loved being around fellow archers. For those of you who knew him, I know he will be missed very much by you.

Pascal lived in Mississippi , near where Chad Weaver lives. Chad was very close to Pascal and helped take care of him during his last few weeks of life.

Please call me for arrangements for Pascal. Please keep this family in your prayers, especially Chad and Betsy as they were very close to Pascal and this has been very hard on Chad .

It's not easy for anyone dealing with a loss. It leaves a black hole in the pit of your stomach that feels like it will never heal. Hang tough, Chad. You're not alone.

We scattered my cousin's ashes on her daddy's gravesite yesterday.

I hope he is not swimming in the Ocean Of Sorrow, once you fall in, you tire swimming, andit's thebeginning of the end.

Thank you all for the good word. I'm sorry I didn't notify the board before I left--things happened quick. I moved in with Earl a couple of weeks ago because he needed someone there 24/7 and he didn't have anyone else that could feasably do it. He had kids, but they are young and couldn't afford to quit work, plus one lived several hours away. Earl couldn't have stood for them to do that anyway--he never wanted to put anyone out. I had a special understanding with him--we knew each other better than most of our family members know us--so it didn't take long for him to figure out he wasn't going to run me off. (he tried because he was worried about me not getting my work done) It helped that I work for myself and the only one that can "fire" me is my wife. I did get way behind, but I'll catch up sooner or later.

I know most of you never heard of him, but only because he was so modest and humble--he never tried to draw attention to himself. We lost a great ambassador to the sport last Saturday, and I lost one of my best and closest friends. He was an amazing man, a good and honest man, and a true friend to those who took the time to get to know him.

Don't worry about Earl now--he's in a much better place, and not hurting anymore. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Chad
