Hello all Troy n ohio has started my cresting bug and I was wondering if there are any other arrow lacquers besides the Bohning brand?

been using "odds 'n' ends" by plasti kote for years it is a enamal,
don't know if it is compatable with bohning lacquers or gasket lacquer, I use water base lacquer ,or water base poly . You can get them a Wallmart, or kmart.

Acrylic craft paints are pretty popular. You can get them at any craft store and Wallmart carries them, too. On sale they'll run you about $.50 a bottle and a good craft store will have more colors than you'll know what to do with.

Just as a caveat, I crest in a different manner so I haven't used these. But they are supposed to be compatible with gasket lacquer.

Testor's model paint has its affecianados, too.
