RE: hi, new meat here with a question

Thanks everyone for your input. I've learned a lot from these posts..hahaha.... and thought of a bunch more questions. But from what everyone is saying....
1) There are lots of great bows and somewhere out there is a perfect bow for me.Hehe, sounds like a long but fun journey is about to begin.
2) I wrote Craig at H.H. bows, I also wrote 3 rivers archery and exsplained to them in a nut shell that I needed everything and know nothing. It was Craig who wrote back. He was very helpful and commented on the dominate eye. He said his son shoots across dominate eye, and Howard Hill did also and he knows several others that do. According to him your mind adjusts as it learns.Hahaha.... I guess just as Jimmy Hendrix learned to play the guitar upside down and backwards because no one was around to teach him the correct way. I'll get a Howard Hill, one reason because Craig sent back such a quick (and the only) reply to my emails to different companys letting them know I wanted to make them a bunch of money. But i'm going to look into buying a cheap light bow to "work out" with also.
The idea to get a double shelf bow is a good one, I will contact Craig about it.
I live in Union City TN. so i'm not that far from Mississippi and only 1 1/2 hours from Clarksville. I will check into it and see if I can get off work.
Thanks everyone for all of your input. I came in thinking I could get set up in one sitting. I see now this will be a lifelong search... but a fun one. I appreciate everyone's input and i'll send pictures as I get stuff and along the way i'm sure i'll be asking tons more questions.
Thanks again for everyone's help,
Carl

I'm cross eye dominate . I shoot everything but a pistol - right hand , right eye . Pistol is right hand , left eye . It's the only "weapon" that will allow me to use my dominate hand and eye . I have no problems hitting the target . I may be to slow to learn how to shoot everything left handed .

I am right handed but left eye dominant too. When I was a pup I shot my bb gun right handed. When I shot a high caliber rifle it jumped up and gave me a bloody nose (my dad laughed is @#! off). Anyway, I had to 'relearn' how to shoot left handed. Honestly I don't even remember the process. Now if I try and shoot right handed, it feels like a totally foreign object is in my hands. I would recommend going left handed if you are indeed left eye dominant. Changing over ain't no kinda thang!
