approx. Draw Weight????
My bow is marked 40#@28" what would the DW be at 29 and 30"? I thought this would be good to know when choosing the correct spine. Thanks for the help in advance, ya'll always come through!

RE: approx. Draw Weight????
I'd say around 42-43# at 29" and 44-46# at 30. Depending on how long the bow is it may stack and be a bit more.

RE: approx. Draw Weight????
It is only a 56" Recurve.

RE: approx. Draw Weight????
IMO you're gonna be testing the limits on that bow at 30". I'd be careful.

RE: approx. Draw Weight????
If it pulls smoothly, the draw weight ranges that Bob mentioned should be about right. You'll likely get some finger pinch at 30" and, depending on the design, it may stack a bit making it feel heavier. What make and design of bow are we talking about?

RE: approx. Draw Weight????
It is a Browning Wasp recurve, i'm not sure what you mean by design of the bow???

RE: approx. Draw Weight????
Smoothness of the draw and stack can be affected by when and how much the tips are designed to open up during the draw and overall limb length. A bow with a more static tip design will generally be smoother at a longer draw length as will a bow with longer limbs. The browning wasp is a great little bow.
