Given the choices you've listed, I would prefer the Magnus. I believe it is a strong blade and flies well. I shoot some of them but my favorite is Grizzlies. The ease of sharpening and the way they fly is great!!

Guys say what you will and three bladed heads but I found and fell in love with the Snuffer many years ago. Was and is the only head I can get hair popping sharp and I have NEVER lost an animal I have shot with a Snuffer! I shoot the 145 and/or the 160 grain heads. I have tinkered with other broadheads but ALWAYS came back to the Snuffers. I figure if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I my opinion the WW is just a smaller knock off of a Snuffer! Just my $.02 worth. Won't take you far these day. LOL

the number one selling broadhead is the Nap Thunderhead, so the majority of hunters must like them, that's what I have used for years, I will also say there are other excellent heads out there, I feel if it works for you why change it, it's all preference

Guess that's why they make so many different heads--everybody's got a favorite. I like plain, old zwicky Eskimos or the new vented 125 magnus 2 blade. Probably lean more toward the vented head. excellent flight.

Kip,

Sorry this is so long in coming.

I cant use the 4 bladers the way I sharpen mine. I also dont feel I can get the bleeders sharp enough to have them there. Hence I stick with the 2's!

I did meet Josh and see his wensel and snuffer sharpening escapade. He did get it going and I am sure with the new files it would have gone much quicker and more consistent, but the time it took to get 1 of 3 blades close to sharp enough would take weeks to get bh's ready to go. I do like the idea though and will watch him in action again. with the new files, hopefully in the very near future. I can say he is the ONLY person who can claim to AND BACK IT UP to get a WW and Snuffer RAZOR sharp that I have met yet.

lilhunter-

I picked up two new files at sears the other day and have the sharpening up to speed again. I can get one of those WW or a snuffer shaving sharp in 3-10 minutes a head depending on how much metal I have to remove to get the angles right. I have also alway liked the 145gr Snuffer, very tough, and very deadly. THe WW to me seems to be easier to tune and likes to fly a lot easier with less tuning than the snuffer but either will probably work almost identically. I have also never lost an animal with a snuffer. I think that the tip of a snuffer is stronger than the tip of the woodsman right out of the package but if you clip and file the woodsman it can be every bit as tough. Good files are a definate must. File, ceramic stick, and strop and tey are good to go.
