Very nice bows CT. But, your not playing very nice, you now have 3 bows, and Im waiting for one.

Chad, make CT an extra special string for that new bow.

I subscribe to 3 magazines: RacerX (Motocross), Primitive Archer, and Traditional Bowhunter. I'm old enough to know you can't believe everything you read. I enjoy reading the hunting stories, even if they are part bs. Some of the "How To" articles are also actually helpful, especially to a beginner.

Actually this thread is going better than I thought it would--and the reponses are not what I expected.

I wan't trying to insult anyone's intelligence by telling you something that you already knew (that you can't believe everything you read), but to be honest I did put full faith in the information printed until I saw that article that I knew, without a doubt, gave the reader a strong impression of something that was absolutely not true. That is just the kind of guy I am--call it dumb, over-trusting, naieve (sp?), whatever--that is just the way I was brought up. On the other hand, if someone betrays that trust, I have a hard time getting over it. Guess I just took it too personal.

I did enjoy the magizine, and still respect some of the writers (I would love a chance to meet Dr. Don Thomas), but I don't see me re-subscribing. Maybe I am too picky for my own good.

Again, these are just my personal views--not an attempt to scare off readers, just a friendly word of advice. Seems like I was the only one that didn't have enough sense to realize what you all knew until I found out the hard way!

Chad, dont underestimate yourself, your incredibly senseless.

On a serious note, I dont think anyone was "reading" into your post. Your just stating your opinion. Im just as bullheaded as the next guy, and sometimes more so. Thats why I will NEVER eat another McDonalds hamburger, none of my money is going to gun control. Everyone thinks Im going overboard, but its what I believe in.

You think you can make CT a hot pink string with lace silencers?

Thanks Kip....I think

Can do on the string. Shoot, I believe I will go ahead and make two like that--found out last night that I will be getting a Crusader in the mail any day (left-handed, cocobolo/yew) and it's gonna' need a string too!

Dude, you better not be messin' with me. I'm doing the "Lucky Me Butt Wiggle Dance". I cant wait for that bow to get here. Unfortunately, my wife wants it to get here too. She wants to make me look like a popsicle when it gets here.

Chad,

Better make Kip one of them brown butt floss strings. After my wife made me a popsicle yesterday (after seeing my new bow) I found the strings you gave me too hard to clean I'd almost pay money to see that dance

Unfortunately, before I realized it, I had a visual of Kip's dance. I am now in serious need of therapy and Pepto.
