I own a Chek Mate bow. I love the way it looks and I love the way it shoots. There, I said it. Now, how long before this post gets pulled? OOPS, I'm sorry I thought I was somewhere else for a minute. :)

I'm out chasing the little deer whenever I have a chance. You're certainly right about them being little deer down here in SC. Haven't had a shot opportunity, yet. But, I hope to see something when I go to visit my son and his family in Georgia the weekend after Christmas.

How abut you, are you keeping warm? You still have snow on the ground?

Mike,

I can identify with the knee problems and trudging through the WV mountains. The doe my son killed up there went from a field that was near the top of Rich Mountain Fire Trail and dropped down to within a 100 yards of two beaver ponds that were around 600 feet below the field.

I helped him haul it back up to the field. We had a deer cart, which made the job alot easier, but we had to stop every 25-30 yards and catch our breath and rest our legs. He's 25 years younger than me, but unfortunately for him he inherited my bad knees.

Two weeks ago they had a foot of snow up at the camp where we stay. I don't know if they still have any on the ground or not, but that would have made for some interesting hunting for the gun hunters.

How do I get on O.L's list to &quot;test&quot; one of his ACS longbows? <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
