Ben Pearson; Collegian

Anyone have any information on this recurve?

I've had it for roughly ten years, my dad picked it up [secondhand] for me when I was eight. I haven't shot it in years though I used to be fairly proficient with it. Noticed it gathering dust in a corner this afternoon and decided to pull it out and take a look at it again. Boy it brought back memories.

Just looking for a little history on it, how old it may be, etc. I can take pictures and post them if you'd like.

Thanks.

Hi Dan. Try www.archeryarchives.com they should be able to tell you something. EDIT The pearson logo wasn't showing on the site. Click the blank spot that is where Ben pearson should be alphabeticly.

Greg,

Thanks for the link! Unfortunately all of the links for the Collegian are broken! :(

Try www.tradgang.com and use the search or check the collectors/archery history forum.

Collegian was a "club bow"

mass produced in large quantities with "fair" shooting capabilities...

sentimental value exceeds collector value..
