So arthru, you just typed 3 paragraphs on the best release/tab to buy then you tell me not to buy one. Which one is it?[8D]

It is definately out of tune from what I can tell. I dont really know the in's and out's of recurve tuning as well as compound tuning. I have Become the Arrow coming in the mail. Does that go over any tuning aspects of traditional gear?

I always think of 'releases' as those trigger doohickies the compound guys use. Sorry for the confusion. [&:]

I do suggest you buy a tab or three. And a glove, eventually.

"Become the Arrow" goes really in depth about tuning. Quite honestly, Ferguson goes a lot further with tuning than I ever considered necessary... at least, not necessary considering my skill level. I'm not in the same league has him.

One of the best (IMO) bow and arrow tuning guides for trad bowhunting.
