Favorite Broadhead?????
Just would like to survey everyone to see what the favorite broadheads are for traditional hunting.

RE: Favorite Broadhead?????
I shoot the 125g Zwickey Eskimo 2 blade for most of my hunting. No flight problems, no penetration problems and so far, no blood trailing problems. It's a good sound head that gets the job done.
Make em sharp and shoot em straight, or leave em home. |
RE: Favorite Broadhead?????
I use the bear razor head lite without the bleader blade. Very accurate and easy to sharpen.

RE: Favorite Broadhead?????
Zwicky Eskimo or this year, vented Magnus on aluminums and Grizzlys on wood
Your life is made of time, not money. |
RE: Favorite Broadhead?????
I've used Magnus I, Zwickey Eskimo, Snuffers and have liked them all. But the one head I keep winding up going back to is the Bear Razorhead. After 38 years and not being able to shake the habit, I guess I have to call the Razorhead my favorite.

RE: Favorite Broadhead?????
I've had great results with Zwickey Eskimo 4 blade heads, but I took nine of my last ten deer with Woodsmans. Both work great, but I personally prefer the Woodsmans.

RE: Favorite Broadhead?????
I shoot Magnus Journeyman, 140 gr., and have used all the ones mentioned above... they are all good broadheads....in my opinion.
Good luck to ya Hedgeapple |
RE: Favorite Broadhead?????
I like several broadheads that depend on a lot of things. For wood arrows I like Ribtek 160gr heads. Aluminum and carbon and sometiems wood I like Magnus journeyman 140, magnus I 160, Snuffers 145, and WW. These are the best heads I have found for flight and ease of sharpening.
