Limb Savers on Traditional Bows???

I am wondering what the instructions are for mounting limbsavers on traditional equiptment, in particular- longbows? Also looking for comments from people who have used on traditional bows- did they work/help? I have used them regiously on compounds, and am wondering about my new bow. Hope someone can help. Thanks again

I used the "recurve" model on my CM Raven with good results. They still look like crap on a wood bow, but there's no denying it works. I just placed them about 6" from the string contact point. As soon as I got my buck I peeled em right off wit hno harm done. :)

I used a pair on a bob lee recurve but noticed that it seemed to slow the bow down quite a bit. the extra weight on the end of a longbow would slow it down some too.
