RE: Give me a quick stringing lesson

I suggest buying a bow stringer. There are at least a couple of different ways to string your bow without one (dang near impossible for me to explain--need a visual for that), but you run the risk of twisting a bow limb or physical injury. They are simple to use and worth the money. The Selway is a good one.

I agree. Unles you can have someone SHOW you how to push-pull string a bow, use a stringer. Your bow limbs, and possibly the side of your face, will thank you.

RE: Give me a quick stringing lesson

currently trying to get a buddy of mine to stop stringing his the old way, putting a leg through, he is backwards all the way around on it but it is working for him. The shame thing is the bow is almost 50 years old, his gramps, with something special to it! Its going to be a shame when it finally blows that and/or he twists his limbs to kingdom come! btw, he might be another checkmate shooter hehe. Hey Chad, just how do I get stock in the buisness <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>!
