I prefer take-down recurves and 1-pc longbows.

traditional for me is a vainful thing. I just love the looks of the bows, the feel. I know, thats bad of me, but its one reasonI got into it. Thats the reason I like the one piece recurves and longbows. I know the take downs are more convienent, change out limbs easily, etc. and more logical.

Its definately personal.

i have a black widow PSA III takedown and love it. it's just more convenient since i move around alot. plus i can change to a different weight set of limbs.

I have always had one piece longbows. However, I got my eye on getting a 3 piece Pronghorn Longbow, thinking of ordering one in a couple months. Traveling especially by car / SUV with a long tube longbow case can be a pain. And the Pronghorns look awesome too!

Ben Pearson Rogue, refinished with snakeskins. And I also carry sometimes my longbow I made a couple years ago.

But I am looking for a T/D for a out of state trip next year. They do make traveling a bit easier.

Shoot what you like and shoot well.
I enjoy both. I bought a take down recurve cheap and it has become one of my favorite bows. I also have a Martin DH hunter and like it a lotalso.
Sounds like I've only got two bows :D

my only bow is a Zipper T/D.... abd it's great... but if I was to do it over.... 1 piece...
it's def a personal choice...but they both beat a compound in my book!!

I remember seeing Stacy Grosscup(couple times) shoot aspirins out of the air... too cool!!
