Darton Recurve?

Has anyone heard of a Darton Bow? Is this a safe bow to consider starting with? Would like to hunt trad, since I'm kind of old fashion in ways.

Thanks for your time

RE: Darton Recurve?

The first bow I ever owned was a Darton Ranger recurve I bought used off ebay for $25. Wish I still had it. For many years Darton also marketed a recurve called "Predator" made by Pitsley. They were fine bows.
