I have one and love it but need to sell it. i cant shoot a recurve accurately enough to hunt with so i need to get a compound. Im not giving up with trad gear yet. Are you right or left handed?

I had one - nice bows, a bit loud, very comfy in the hand, you can't break them, not very pretty, not designed to be, I shot mine off the shelf, accurate bows

got one and love it. vey accurate and quiet. I put the limbsavers on the limbs and string leaches on it. it shoots very smooth with little hand shock. My other bud that has a long bow shot mine and now he wants one too. I have the 50lb camo version. I had shot other longbows but settled on the smoothness and quiet shooting of the hoyt. just my 2 cents. I shoot a 2117 arrow 29 inches long, 5 inch feathers and a 100 gr razorcap broadhead. my arrows fly like darts. I am pretty consistant out to 25 yards with it. I have only been shooting trad since february and it didn't take long to pick it up and get good groups with this bow for me. good luck in your decision. they must be good bows b/c my local pro shop sells a zillion of them. I also like the fact that I have the option to increase or decrease my draw wt by buying new limbs. for now, I am happy shooting 50#.
