Old Pearson Take Down Bow?????

HELP? Yesterday I bought a take down bow from an old gentleman at the local bow shop. I am looking for some assistance on what this bow might be worth. It is a Ben Pearson, Signature Series, 7330, AP-67, 58", 55xx - 28", the bow was in the original case and does not look as though it has been shot hardly any at all. It is a left hand bow. The man had a receipt for a dozen arrows in a box that he had bought at the same time he bought the bow, it was dated 1976.

Well, I thought the bow was really neat and the older man had no idea what it was worth and neither did I. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

By the way, I just signed on with the website, look forward to some good forums.

Thanks,
J. Shoot

Check this link for some info on your Pearson, look in the 1968/69 year list. New, your bow appears have been between $60-$85, depending on the model. http://www.angelfire.com/la2/pearsonbow/pearson1.htm

Sounds like you got the one with the aluminum dovetail take-down system? Those are really cool--wish I could find a nice one in a right-hand. For some odd reason, Pearson bows don't seem to have much of a collector value--maybe because he produced so many? I would take care of it regardless--it might bring a good price one of these days. I have seen one lefty like that, in good condition, sell for $75. I believe the most I have seen one bring was $200.

Sorry I am not more help.
