Sika Deer

Hey guys,
I just got in to a Sika Hunt on Blackwater NWR here in MD, so Im curious if anybody else here has hunted them...Stand, Spot and Stalk, or Still Hunt?

I usually shoot Zwickeys, but Im thinking that I should dust off the Snuffers for these little guys...

Any opinions are greatly appreciated

I have hunted them for 10 years. What section? I will be on A1. I used to do the big one, U, used to be A. I got a 99lb sika doe last year and Allen, the hunt organizer was shocked. She was an old one. I got a nice 3X2 6 years ago.

Beware they are tough little guys. Twice as tough as whitetails.

Great! Congrats on yours, Ive always wanted one...a 99 pound doe! I thought they were supposed to stop at 50 something! lol

I beleive I will be on M1, Im still kinda confused...

So definitely the Snuffers then?

I am sorry, yea, its M1 I am on not a1. I only blackpowder and slug there. Gas too expensive.
