I Switched!
 
I just put my compound bow on consignment and bought a newer used longbow.I shot a 55#er and the 65#er I bought.I really liked the 65# bow a little faster and more power.I shot it about 50 times and can't wait to shoot it tomarrow.It is really pretty accurate.Too bad for the Elk.
It is a Bitterroot Archery longbow in the packer model with antler tips,Anyone ever heard of it?

Holy cow, 65#'s. Thats like shooting a 90lb compound 50% letoff. I guess you are an experienced longbower. I know I had to start much lower and I shoot a 70lb compound.

I see some guys on traditional archery shooting bitterroot.

Congratualtions,

Make sure you let us know how you make out with it. 65# is an aweful lot of weight.
