I myself like a droppoint. Especially for butchering. That way when sticking in to find a bone, I know where it hits. Great lookin knifes.

This is the Byron Ferguson (Spelling?) signiture knife. I like the look of it, but I dont like the signiture. Byron is great and all I just dont like it.

The blade is 4.75 and the handle is the same as the others.

Myself I like the folding ones best but, if I was to choose I would
most likely pick the skinner. Although the last knife pictured does
look like a good one.

What is the main use you are going to be using it for ?
That is something to consider, as a taxidermist ,I want a knife that is light, has a very thin tip so that I can cape around the antlers, and one that will keep sharp for a long time.
None of those qualify in my book as a good skinner.
check any taxidermy supply house for a 4" Vitorinox knife should cost you $4 to $6, remove the handle and make an antler handle for it, then you'll have yourself a skinner, the other ones here might be good for gutting and other stuff.
