Bad news and good.
 

Well I will give you the bad new first. I was on my way to the river for some afternoon fishing. To get there I have to drive by the area I hunt. Yah I hunt about 300 yards off thehigh way, someone has to do it. On the side of the road dead was a good buck. His rack was already big and looked like he had a long way to go. I tiped my hat to him and drove off, alittle bummed out. Now for the good news. The next day I was heading back to the river, this time I tock the dirt road. About a 1/4 mile from my hunting area I saw 2big bucks with good groth (not as big as the one on the road). I sat and watched them for a while as the feed on road grass. I felt better.

I have seen more deer (bucks) this year then in the past 3 years put together, hope things are looking up in the big woods.

Also saw some grouse and a tone of rabbits, looking good looking good.

Sounds good Guss. I retrived my trail camera over the weekend and had 24 pictures (full roll of film) over aboutfour days. Looks like the numbers are pretty good around here anyway.
