PIC of my MOAB (Mother of all bows)

Had to go to the Post Office Saturday to get the new bow. Of course it was sent return signature so I got a post card from the mailman on Friday when I got home from work. The bow is a 60" MOAB by Thunderstick Archery, Jim Reynold's is the bowyer. Here is a pic:

The bow shoots 58# at 29".

Well, here is a Pic of the belly, the riser, and a pic of the front of the riser. I should have used a different back ground though:

Nice bow!! How does it shoot?
First off, I'd say it's a blast to shoot.

But, it is a very sensitive bow. First shot I took with it jarred my bow arm pretty good. A LOT of hand shock. My first thought was oh noooo.... I also heard some arrow clearence problems. Very loud.

I raised up the the nock point a 1/4 inch and it took most of the arrow problem away. This morning I shot it in the basement though and heard the arrow smack the shelf again. It took about 1/16 higher on the nock, and the problem is gone completely.

I also increased the brace height 1/4" and the hand shock is non-noticable.

I removed the whiskers that came on the string and installed string leeches at the 1/4 intervals top and bottom. Very quiet now.

I love the grip on the bow. Fits my hand perfect. The bow also points very quick.

Only other thing I have to get used to is that the brace is 6 1/2" so I am pulling from further out then what I am used to.

In all, I'd say it is a great little bow that I'm having a hard time putting down.

But it is sensitive, and when I get a flyer, I get a flyer!
