Thanks for all the help you guys have given. I finally ordered a Chek-Mate Falcon 50# LH Grey Walnut recurve. I can't wait to try it out and get hunting with it. It might take a couple months before I get it though:(.

Good luck with it, I just started into traditional archery around 9mths ago and the recurve I got was a chek-mate falcon 53#@28 and wow what a sweet shooting and quality made bow for the price you will not be disapointed.

I also have a chek-mate on order. A crusader longbow. I try not to think about it too much though, it'll be a while till I get it. You'll love the falcon. I had a falcon and a firebird, still regret selling the falcon.

I guess I'll just have to join inthe waiting. I ordered a custom sabre takedown from Chad last week.66"length, pulling 40#@28"with a cocobolo and bocote riser and black walnut limbs under clear glass. Hopefully, the next5-6 months will go by quickly.

My Falcon rocks! One sweet shooting bow. Hard to beat for the $$$$. When all the new bows arrive post some pics!
