What's your definition of a "Deep Hook"

I was looking at American Leathers website today, and this struck me to be odd. The first picture below is what they call a "Deep Hook". I don't think that I have ever seen anybody shoot like that. However, the picture below that is what I consider a deep hook (the way I shoot), but they consider it a "Proper Release" by American Leathers. What do you think?

Probably just a different use of the word....... From what I've read, a deep hook is the first joint in the fingers..... i.e., the second picture..... Probably a case of the word meaning different things to different people...

Second picture (first joint)--the first one doesn't make any sense to me--the glove doesn't even come down that far.

They try to make the point that their glove does not allow for a "Deep Hook".

American Leather:

All of our gloves support good habits as they do not allow the shooter to take a deep hook.

Bob,

I've got a glove just like that one that I will sale you for $20... I bought it used, and just don't like the open palm... It's in good shape... If you weren't happy I would refund your money..

That's the Big Shot right?

I had one, but gave it away. I followed the instructions, traced my hand, and it didn't fit. Sent it back (and that was no problem at all), got it back, and it had been worked on (or I got a new one--not sure), but it still didn't fit. Two of the fingers were good, but they couldn't get one of them right with two tries, and the wrist strap was not comfortable at all. Not a cheap glove by any means, but I tried to make do with it for a while rather than send it back again. Finally gave up and went back to the ABS Super Glove--still use one. Glove fit is important to me--I won't buy a glove anymore unless I can try it on first--especially one that costs $40+ apiece.
