Magnus 2 blade
I just picked up 6 to broadhead tune my bow. I figure 2 blade would fit the bill considering I am shooting a 490gr arrow with head and a 50# bow.
Does other think the bleeders would be nessacarry? |
RE: Magnus 2 blade
Well, I can just give you my opinion. I don't like the regular Magnus bleeder blades. I do like them on the Stingers, but on the regular Magnus, I have always has noise problems and sometimes bad flight characteristics. Many people have also reported having the bleeders breaking inside of game, making field dressing a little dangerous. So if it were me, I'd leave them off.

Not nescessary < i shoot them for pigs and never lost one yet, Just keep them sharp and oiled.

RE: Magnus 2 blade
Little disappointed with factory edge. But no problem, I am not good at too many things, but can sharpen things to razor edge.

RE: Magnus 2 blade
Unless you enjoy perfect flight, effortless penetration, and top quality heads, theMagnus isn't for you.....;)
I've used the 2 blade heads for years, even when shooting a compound.... I love the way they just slip right through a deer.... I don't believe the bleeders are necessary either.... |
RE: Magnus 2 blade
DC do you mean "unless you don't enjoy perfect flight"?
|
RE: Magnus 2 blade
Nope, I said it right...... Notice the isn't..... Ok, it was a bad attempt at sarcasism :D
Magnus rocks!! |
RE: Magnus 2 blade
I have used both with and without bleeders on whitetails in the pastand was very pleased both ways. I personally did not notice a difference in the bloodtrails.Seemed like good heads and sharpened real good too.
